Pre-Natal Yoga
Prenatal yoga is the perfect opportunity to dedicate some real time for stilling the mind and connecting with your baby at the same time. We lead such busy lives these days, and we get so completely caught up in it that we tend to disconnect from ourselves. In so doing, we are no longer in touch with how we really feel, what our bodies are telling us, and what we need. Taking the time to do this during pregnancy is so important for women because pregnancy brings us back to the core of nature, to the root of who we are. We need to find ways to get in touch with our intuitive side, listen to our bodies, respect our bodies, so that we can connect with the natural birth process and be physically and mentally ready for the challenges ahead. PreNatal sessions focus on breath work, strengthening the back, opening the hips, strengthening the pelvic floor, focusing the mind, and de-stressing.
Post-Natal Yoga
A gentle, effective way to strengthen your body after birth and regain some of your energy. Postures focus on strengthening the abdominals, the lower back, the pelvic floor, decompressing the upper back/shoulders and neck and opening the chest. Breath work will reconnect you with the present moment, helping you relieve stress and relax.
