“Chi-Elements, your complete solution for balancing mind, body, spirit and environment”

Feng Shui for HOME » About

The ancient art of Feng Shui originated in China thousands of years ago. Literally Feng Shui stands for wind and water. Philosophically, this represents the flow of energy in our surrounding environment. Simply put, Feng Shui is like an “acupuncture of the home.” In acupuncture, a therapist inserts needles into different energy points of the body to help unblock and balance the energy of your body. With Feng Shui, a consultant looks at the energy blockages in your living or working space, and recommends ways to ensure your environment works in harmony with you.

When your living space has good Feng Shui, this can lead to significant improvements in various areas of your life: i.e. relationships, family, career, self-understanding, good fortune and so on. When the energies are not in harmony (i.e. bad Feng Shui), then it will of course have the opposite effect.

The Chinese have a saying that first comes luck, second destiny, third Feng Shui, fourth virtue, and fifth Education. This should give you an indication of how seriously they take Feng Shui! Furthermore, this illustrates that even though luck and destiny might play a strong hand in what happens in our lives, we can certainly improve the outcome significantly.

Our integrative approach explores various facets of what makes a living space harmonious and auspicious. Consultations would include: compass readings of facing and sitting directions of a home, placing the bagua to determine the 9 life directions, detecting and treating Geopathic Stress, testing EMFs and microwaves, space clearing and Chinese Astrology. Please refer to the “What is Feng Shui?” link to the left to learn more about each of these techniques and our consultation offerings.
